Dragonetti Alberto

Having graduated from the University of Milan in 1981, he served in the Gorgonzola Hospital, first as a medical assistant and then as co-responsible assistant. He was Director of Otorhinolaryngology  at the Poliambulanza Nursing Home in Brescia (1997-1999) and at the San Giuseppe Hospital in Milan (1999-2012).

As of January 2012 he has served as Director of UOC (Joint Operation Unit) of Otosclerosis at AO Hospital Niguarda Ca' Granda.

He obtained the specialization of Otolaryngology and Face and Neck Pathologies from the University of Milan in 1985

He has been the main surgeon in more than 10,000 surgical operations performed with traditional, microendoscopic and assisted laser techniques, both in functional as well as oncological healthcare.
Since 1991 he has been involved in mini-invasive endoscopic surgery of paranasal sinuses and the cranial base for the treatment of inflammatory and tumorous growths, both benign and malignant.

From 2005 to 2011 he was a contract professor for the unique degree programme in medicine and surgery at the University of Milan.
He is currently a contract professor at the Otolaryngology School at the University of Milan.

He has worked as a coordinator, director and scientific speaker at more than 200 conferences, as well as directing and organizing practical live video and surgery courses and anatomical dissection of the paranasal and skeletal sinuses both at national and international level.

Already chair of the Lombardo Otorinolaringoiatri Group (GLO), as founding partner, he has authored and co-authored a number of articles in international journals as well as monographs in national newspapers.
